Legal
Terms of Use and Sale
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of Life Chart, including our website, accounts, personalised charts, calculations, digital reports, interpretations and related features (together, the “Services”).
They also govern purchases made through the website.
Please read these Terms carefully before using or purchasing the Services.
01Who We Are
The Services are provided by:
Legal name: Legal Business / Company Name
Trading name: Life Chart
Registered/business address: Address
Company number: if applicable
Registered in: England and Wales / other jurisdiction
VAT number: if applicable
Email: support email
Telephone: business telephone number
"We", "us" and "our" mean the business identified above.
02Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms are primarily intended for individuals using or purchasing our Services for personal purposes.
Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you wish to use our Services primarily for commercial or business purposes, separate terms may apply.
03What You Are Purchasing
We provide personalised digital reports containing calculations, charts and interpretations generated using information supplied by you.
The product you purchase is a personalised digital report supplied electronically.
Depending on the product selected, a report may draw upon systems including:
- Western astrology;
- Vedic astrology;
- Chinese metaphysics, including BaZi;
- numerology;
- personality and self-reflection frameworks;
- scientific or educational material where expressly identified as such; and
- other systems described on the relevant product page.
Our software, automated systems and artificial-intelligence providers may be used behind the scenes to calculate, assemble, review and generate your report.
The specific contents and characteristics of the report you purchase will be described before you place your order.
That product description forms part of our contract with you.
04Nature of Astrology and Interpretive Content
Astrology, numerology and similar interpretive systems are not scientifically established methods of determining personality or reliably predicting future events.
Our interpretive content is provided for personal insight, reflection, information and entertainment.
A report should not be understood as establishing objective facts about your personality, capabilities or future.
Different traditions and interpretive methods may also reach different conclusions.
Where scientific, psychological, neurological or neuroscience-related material appears alongside astrology, numerology or other interpretive systems, those categories should be understood separately.
The inclusion of scientific material does not mean that an astrological or numerological interpretation has thereby been scientifically validated.
05Not Professional Advice
Our Services do not constitute:
- medical advice;
- psychological or psychiatric assessment;
- neurological assessment;
- diagnosis or treatment;
- legal advice;
- financial or investment advice;
- employment or recruitment advice; or
- any other regulated professional advice.
You should obtain appropriately qualified professional advice where necessary.
You should not make significant medical, legal, financial, employment or similarly consequential decisions solely because of an interpretation contained in one of our reports.
06Calculations and Interpretations
There is an important distinction between the calculations underlying a report and the interpretation of those calculations.
We aim to perform the calculations forming part of your purchased report correctly and provide the digital content in accordance with applicable law.
Interpretation is inherently more subjective.
We do not guarantee that:
- every interpretation will personally resonate with you;
- every prediction will occur;
- every interpretive system will reach the same conclusion;
- a particular outcome will result from information contained in a report; or
- you will agree with every statement in your report.
Disagreement with a subjective interpretation does not by itself mean that the report is defective.
This does not affect your rights where there is an objective calculation error, missing content, technical defect or other failure to provide what was agreed.
07Information You Provide
Your report depends upon information you provide.
This may include:
- name;
- date of birth;
- time of birth;
- place of birth; and
- other information required for the selected report.
You are responsible for checking this information before purchasing.
Certain calculations may be sensitive to relatively small differences in birth time, location or other information.
Before payment, you will be provided with a reasonable opportunity to review and correct the information entered.
Where the information supplied by you is incorrect, a report correctly generated using that information will not be considered defective merely because the underlying information was inaccurate.
This does not apply where the error was caused by our software, calculations or processing.
08Information About Other People
Some Services may allow you to provide information relating to another living person, for example for a compatibility or relationship report.
You must only provide another person's personal information where you have their permission or are otherwise lawfully entitled to provide and use that information for the relevant purpose.
You must not use the Services to analyse another individual in a manner that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, intrusive or intended to cause harm.
Further information about our processing of personal information is contained in our Privacy Policy.
09Prohibited Consequential Uses
Our reports are designed for personal insight and reflection.
You must not use a report as the sole or determining basis for making a significant decision about another person's:
- employment or recruitment;
- promotion;
- education;
- housing;
- lending or credit;
- insurance;
- healthcare;
- legal rights; or
- access to significant services or opportunities.
Our Services are not designed or supplied for these purposes.
10Artificial Intelligence
Parts of the report-generation process may use artificial intelligence and other automated technologies.
These systems may assist with:
- organising calculated information;
- comparing calculations;
- identifying relationships between findings;
- generating explanations;
- producing personalised written interpretations;
- structuring reports;
- improving readability; and
- checking consistency.
Automated systems can occasionally produce errors, omissions or inconsistencies.
The use of AI does not reduce our obligations to provide the digital content we agreed to supply and does not remove your statutory consumer rights.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be processed through AI and other technology providers.
11Product Information
Before purchase, we will provide information about the main characteristics of the report being offered.
Where relevant, this may include:
- what the report contains;
- delivery format;
- functionality;
- compatibility or technical requirements;
- generation or delivery arrangements; and
- total price.
Product-specific information provided before purchase may form part of our contract with you.
12Reviewing Your Order
Before placing an order, you should check:
- the report selected;
- your birth and other personal information;
- your email address;
- the total price; and
- any other information displayed during checkout.
The ordering process will provide an opportunity to identify and correct input errors before payment.
These Terms are made available electronically in a form capable of being stored or reproduced.
The contract is offered in English unless expressly stated otherwise.
13Placing an Order and Contract Formation
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected personalised digital report.
Before payment, you will have an opportunity to review the information that will be used to generate your report.
Your order is accepted when payment has been successfully authorised and we display confirmation that your order has been accepted.
At that point, a contract is formed between you and us and generation of your personalised report may begin immediately.
If payment is unsuccessful, your order will not be accepted.
If we are unable to accept an order after payment has been collected, we will return the relevant payment.
14Immediate Generation
Our personalised reports are designed to be generated automatically and immediately following successful purchase.
Once your order has been accepted, our systems — including artificial-intelligence systems where applicable — may immediately begin calculating, assembling and generating your personalised report.
Generation may take a short period.
There is no ordinary facility to pause the automated generation process once it has begun.
This does not remove any statutory right that has not yet legally been lost.
15Immediate Supply and Your Cancellation Right
Consumers entering certain contracts online ordinarily have a statutory cancellation period.
Our personalised digital reports are intended to be supplied immediately rather than waiting for that period to expire.
Before we begin supplying your digital report during an applicable cancellation period, we will therefore ask you to:
- expressly consent to immediate supply of the digital content; and
- acknowledge that once supply of the digital content begins, you will lose your statutory right to cancel the contract.
Where those requirements have been satisfied and supply of the digital content has begun, you will no longer have the ordinary statutory right to cancel the purchase simply because you have changed your mind.
Nothing in these Terms treats your cancellation right as lost before the legal requirements for doing so have been satisfied.
16What This Means in Practice
Our normal purchasing process is:
- you enter your required information;
- you review and correct that information;
- you review the report being purchased and its price;
- you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge the resulting loss of your cancellation right;
- you place and pay for your order;
- your order is accepted;
- generation begins automatically;
- your personalised digital report is supplied as soon as generation is complete; and
- we send you an electronic order confirmation.
Once supply has begun following the required consent and acknowledgement, there is no ordinary change-of-mind cancellation right.
This is separate from your rights if something is actually wrong with the report.
17Where a Cancellation Right Still Exists
If supply of the digital content has not begun and you continue to have a statutory cancellation right, or the legal requirements for loss of that right have not been satisfied, nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising that right.
You may communicate a decision to cancel by sending us a clear statement at:
Email: support email
Address: postal address
Where legally required, we will also provide the applicable model cancellation form.
18Order Confirmation
After accepting your order, we will provide confirmation electronically in a form you can retain, normally by email.
The confirmation will contain or make available, where applicable:
- the report purchased;
- the price paid;
- your order reference;
- our contact information;
- the contractual information applicable to your purchase;
- these Terms;
- relevant cancellation information;
- confirmation that you requested immediate supply; and
- confirmation that you acknowledged the effect of immediate supply on your cancellation right.
You should retain the confirmation for your records.
19Your Rights if Something Is Wrong With the Report
Loss of the change-of-mind cancellation right does not remove your statutory rights if the digital content is defective or does not conform to the contract.
Where applicable, digital content supplied by us must meet statutory requirements concerning matters including:
- satisfactory quality;
- fitness for applicable purposes;
- conformity with its description; and
- our right to supply it.
If your report does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to remedies provided by applicable consumer law.
Depending on the circumstances, those remedies may include:
- correction or regeneration;
- replacement digital content;
- a price reduction; or
- a refund where legally applicable.
20Report Errors
If you believe your report contains a genuine error, please contact [support email] and provide your order number and sufficient information for us to investigate.
Examples include:
- incorrect calculations despite correct birth information being supplied;
- material parts of the purchased report being missing;
- another person's information appearing in your report;
- a corrupted or inaccessible report;
- failure to provide material content included in the product description; or
- another significant technical or generation defect.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- investigate the issue;
- correct the report;
- regenerate it;
- provide replacement digital content;
- restore access;
- provide a price reduction; or
- provide another remedy required by law.
A subjective disagreement with an astrological, numerological or other interpretation does not by itself establish that the report is defective.
21Failed Generation or Delivery
If payment succeeds but a technical problem prevents your report from being successfully generated or supplied, we will take reasonable steps to correct the problem or regenerate the report.
You will not be treated as having received a report merely because payment was successful or because our internal generation process started.
If we ultimately cannot provide the report you purchased, we will provide any refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
22Refunds
There is an important distinction between:
changing your mind about a purchase, and
your rights where something is wrong with the product.
Once you have validly consented to immediate supply, acknowledged the resulting loss of your cancellation right, and supply of your personalised digital report has begun, we do not ordinarily provide refunds merely because you change your mind.
Subject to your statutory rights, we also do not ordinarily provide refunds solely because:
- you disagree with a subjective interpretation;
- an interpretation does not personally resonate with you;
- a prediction does not occur; or
- your report correctly used inaccurate information entered by you.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the report is defective, materially fails to match its description, is not supplied or another legal remedy applies.
We may also provide discretionary refunds where we consider this appropriate.
23Prices
The total price payable will be displayed before you place your order.
Consumer prices will include applicable taxes where required.
Any mandatory charge that we know you will necessarily have to pay will be included or clearly disclosed before purchase.
We will not add optional paid extras through pre-selected options requiring you to opt out.
24Payment
Payment is processed using Stripe.
We may not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
An order may be rejected where payment is:
- declined;
- unauthorised;
- suspected to be fraudulent; or
- otherwise not successfully completed.
25Obvious Pricing Errors
We take reasonable steps to ensure prices are displayed correctly.
If a product is displayed at an obviously incorrect price because of a genuine technical or administrative error, and that error should reasonably have been apparent, we may decline the order before accepting it.
If payment has already been collected for an order that we cannot accept, it will be returned.
We will not use this provision to increase the agreed price after a valid contract has been formed merely because we later decide the product should have cost more.
26Promotional Codes
We may offer promotional or discount codes.
Unless the particular promotion states otherwise:
- codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- codes may expire;
- codes may apply only to selected products;
- codes may be limited to one use;
- multiple codes may not be combined; and
- fraudulently obtained or used codes may be refused.
Any specific terms displayed with a promotion will also apply.
27Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same report more than once, contact us promptly.
Where we can reasonably verify that a duplicate payment was accidental, we may refund the duplicate transaction.
This does not restrict any statutory rights you may have.
28Saved Reports
Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a report gives you the right to receive the report purchased but does not guarantee indefinite cloud storage.
Where downloading is available, we recommend keeping your own copy.
If we intend to discontinue a storage feature through which purchased reports remain accessible, we will take reasonable steps, where practicable, to give affected users notice and an opportunity to retain their reports.
This does not affect any continuing-access entitlement expressly included in the product purchased.
29Future Versions and Updates
Unless expressly included in the product description, purchasing a report does not automatically entitle you to:
- future versions;
- newly introduced interpretive systems;
- future recalculations;
- later-added features; or
- ongoing personalised updates.
We may provide improvements voluntarily.
Correcting a genuine defect in a purchased report is not treated as purchasing a new product.
30Accounts
Where an account is provided, you must take reasonable steps to protect your login credentials.
You must not knowingly:
- permit unauthorised access;
- access another user's account;
- interfere with authentication;
- circumvent security controls; or
- use another person's credentials without permission.
Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
31Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Deleting your account may result in loss of access to reports stored solely within that account.
You should retain copies of reports you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
Certain information may continue to be retained where we have a lawful reason to do so, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
32Intellectual Property
We or our licensors own the intellectual-property rights in our original:
- website content;
- software;
- branding;
- graphics;
- report presentation;
- proprietary report structures;
- original written material;
- proprietary databases; and
- methodologies developed by us.
We do not claim ownership of traditional astrological, numerological, astronomical or other systems merely because our software uses them.
33Licence to Your Report
When you lawfully purchase a report, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it for private purposes.
You may:
- read it;
- download it;
- save it;
- print it;
- retain it; and
- reasonably share your own report privately.
You may also use ordinary third-party tools to privately summarise or analyse your own report.
Unless permitted by law or by us in writing, you must not:
- resell our reports;
- commercially republish substantial parts of our proprietary material;
- systematically scrape the website;
- create a competing database from our content;
- copy substantial proprietary report content for a competing service;
- use substantial quantities of our proprietary material to train or develop a competing commercial AI or report-generation product; or
- falsely represent our proprietary content as your own.
34Acceptable Use
You must not use the Services:
- unlawfully or fraudulently;
- to harass, threaten or harm another person;
- to impersonate another person;
- to introduce malware;
- to obtain unauthorised access;
- to interfere with the operation or security of our systems;
- to conduct unauthorised systematic scraping or extraction; or
- in a manner that infringes another person's rights.
35Suspension
We may temporarily restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because of:
- suspected fraud;
- a serious breach of these Terms;
- unlawful use;
- a security threat;
- misuse affecting other users; or
- a legal obligation.
We will not use this provision simply to deprive you of contractual or statutory rights relating to a valid purchase.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we will explain the reason for a restriction.
36Availability and Maintenance
We cannot guarantee that every website feature will operate without interruption.
Temporary disruption may occur because of maintenance, security work, software faults, infrastructure failures or external-provider outages.
We will take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to restore affected Services.
This does not remove any right you may have where we fail to provide a purchased report as agreed.
37Third-Party Technology
We may use third-party providers for functions including:
- payment processing;
- hosting;
- cloud infrastructure;
- artificial intelligence;
- email delivery;
- analytics;
- security; and
- error monitoring.
Using third-party technology does not remove responsibilities that applicable law places upon us in relation to the digital content we supply.
Our Privacy Policy contains further information concerning processing of personal information by third parties.
38Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing excludes or restricts liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted; or
- any other liability which the law does not permit us to exclude.
If we breach these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a reasonably foreseeable result of that breach or of a failure to exercise the care required by law.
We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for loss arising solely because you treated an astrological, numerological or other subjective interpretation as:
- guaranteed fact;
- professional advice;
- a medical diagnosis; or
- a certain prediction,
where the Services clearly stated that the relevant content should not be used in that way.
Nothing in this section protects us from responsibility for our own actionable breach, negligence or failure to comply with applicable law.
39Personal Rather Than Business Use
Our consumer reports are supplied principally for personal use.
If you use a consumer report primarily for commercial or business purposes, different rights may apply.
Business customers should contact us for appropriate commercial terms where necessary.
40Complaints
If something goes wrong, please contact:
Email: support email
Address: complaints address
Please provide:
- your name;
- order number, where applicable;
- a description of the problem; and
- the outcome you are seeking.
We will consider complaints fairly and within a reasonable period.
Nothing in our complaints procedure prevents you from exercising statutory rights or pursuing another legally available remedy.
41Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You should read that policy before providing personal information through the Services.
42Cookies
Use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy and through our cookie controls where applicable.
43Age Requirement
The Services are intended for people aged 18 or over.
You must not create a paid account or purchase a report if you are under 18 unless we expressly introduce a product permitting this under separate arrangements.
44Changes to Our Services
We may develop or change Services offered in the future.
Changes to future products do not alter the product that you have already contracted to purchase.
If a change affects an ongoing feature included in an existing purchase, we will not use that change to remove rights you acquired under the original contract.
45Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms for future website use and future purchases.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise or you expressly agree, the version applicable when your purchase was made will continue to govern that purchase.
We will not use this provision retrospectively to remove contractual or statutory rights you have already acquired.
46Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that does not automatically make the remaining provisions unenforceable.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
47No Waiver
If we do not enforce a contractual right immediately, this does not necessarily mean we have waived that right.
48Governing Law and Courts
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another jurisdiction, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under laws applicable to you.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from bringing or defending proceedings in another court where applicable law entitles them to do so.
